Daily Tasks explained in detail at bottom.
Jan 16th-28th
- A dear friend surprisingly knocked on my door last week and offered to supply a new setup for building the website and social media for Every Verse. I’ve been a tech guy from a young age, building my own systems for cheap; but this will be a larger budget than I’ve probably had in all 23 years combined. What a blessing and encouragement! After about 20 hours of prayer, research, and discussion to ensure it would be effectively and wisely used, here’s the tentative conclusions.
- Priced out systems cost effectiveness for benchmark power, to get the sweet spot shown in this spreadsheet, if you’re going for no frills value build or refurb, the cost per 1k benchmark (CPU+GPU) should be about CAD$20-25 taxes/shipping in. Thanks to passmark.com.
- Also in preparing, saved money on some 10 year old reject monitors without stands, and built my own mount, they could use some angling if I’m able to find some cheap mount pivots.

Details:
Jan 14th – Mobile compact scrolling & display – Used ChatGPT and Gemini in 2 different chunks. First made a simple page with just Exact Matches results, perfected the functionality, then tried to get it to duplicate across the whole page. The perfections go easy with the simple task, then trying to implement in a complicated page takes time, but eventually, got closer and closer, both AI’s have similar strengths and weaknesses, but they compliment each other a bit when you’re stuck programming PHP, JS, HTML, and MYSQL.
